I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death, and I assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to: falls, injuries, contact with other participants, and the effects of weather, including high heat, and/or humidity. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and I hereby certify that I am medically able to perform this event, am in good health, and am properly trained. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my participation and by my signature, I hereby, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns; waive, release and hold harmless the USCAA, Corporate Running Association, City of Golder, and the Board of Trustees of the Colorado School of Mines, for and on behalf of the Colorado School of Mines, and their directors, managers, officers, employees, representatives, volunteers and agents from any and all claims for damages and/or injuries arising from or out of my participation in and travel to and from this event.
